Velscope - Your oral health is important, and the FDA approved Velscope oral cancer screening system provides you with a quick, safe and comfortable way to detect oral cancer when it is the most treatable. Each year, more than 31,000 people are diagnosed with oral or pharyngeal cancer, and half of them do not survive because the cancer is not diagnosed early enough. Early detection raises the survival rate to as much as 80%. Velscope uses a safe blue light, without the aid of stains or rinses, to detect tissue abnormalities in the earliest stages, before they reach the surface and become visible. It takes only 5 minutes to protect your health and prevent you from becoming a statistic. Ask Dr. Papich-Forsyth today about this powerful new tool in the fight against cancer.
- Biolase - The Biolase™ water laser and the Biolase™ gum laser are two examples of advanced technology that ensures effective, fast treatment for patients like you. Lasers are extremely gentle devices that allow for faster healing and little to no post treatment discomfort. You may experience the benefits of Biolase™ technology during treatments for gum disease, cavities and biopsies as well as during delicate procedures like cosmetic gum lifts. You'll smile – not just because your smile will look fantastic, but also because of the amazing comfort you experienced during your time with Dr. Papich-Forsyth.
- Digital X-rays - We offer digital radiographs (X-Rays). Digital radiographs provide less radiation and are safer for you than traditional film x-rays. You will find that Dr. Papich-Forsyth researches the latest trends in technology to find the solutions that promote your overall health, safety and comfort. Radiographs are a necessary diagnostic tool in the field of dentistry. More than half of each tooth is hidden and surrounded by bone.
